In 2004, a bee trail was introduced along the Burgthanner trail, which runs from Parkstrasse via the Raaballee to the Stephanie spring. Heinz Köck of St. Ruprecht devised and installed the individual display boards. The bee trail highlights the life and work of these useful insects. A real life bee colony can also be viewed via a window inside a hollow tree trunk. A walk along the bee trail is recommended for children as well as adults with plenty of interesting facts to learn.
