Feiertag Quality Butchers
Feiertag Quality Butchers is a long-standing company in the heart of Weiz, which was founded back in 1938 and is regarded as the place to go for regional specialities. It sells top-quality brands and regional specialities from the Weiz mountain region as well as a huge selection of organically-grown meat, sausage and ham.

Weiz Sheep Farmers
The Weiz Sheep Farmers, which has over 400 strong members, process and market all their lamb and mutton products from their shop in the Marburger Strasse in Weiz. And it's for all those who appreciate everything that’s that little bit special, as well as being organically produced and really good for you from the amazing animal that is the sheep!
In the unspoilt surroundings of the Weiz mountain region, sheep are kept in small herds and in the summer they graze on the tasty grass and herbs in the meadows high above the valley, while in the winter they feed on hay. This nutritious diet and the way the animals are kept in their natural environment are the main factors that form the basis for the top-quality raw products produced by the Weiz Sheep Farmers.
The cuts of meat provided by the Weiz Sheep Farmers not only allow them to sell the best lamb products, but aslo produce tasty lamb sausages and cold roast lamb.
Or how about trying our delicious Sheep Farmers’ Yoghurt, Sheep Farmers’ round cheese and smoked cheese (hard cheese) or "Naaser" cheese, a delicious, salted soft cheese named after the place it is made.

Steirerkraft - The history of the pumpkin seed
Good things take time. The history of the pumpkin, which was discovered by the Incas, also proves this age-old adage. The Incas, true masters of horticultural systems, had already been cultivating this versatile and valuable fruit for centuries before Columbus made his way across the Atlantic.
It was, however, still to take another 100 years for the Spanish to discover its properties and to then bring the first pumpkins to Europe as ornamental plants. And then much later till some real masterminds (probably Styrians) discovered all the valuable properties found inside the pumpkins and started eating them and enjoying their delicious taste.
Our history began in 1997 when we founded the Steirerkraft company. Steirerkraft Naturprodukte GmbH is an international company which focuses on manufacturing and selling Styrian pumpkin seeds, Styrian pumpkin seed oil and Styrian broad beans. The business ranges from pumpkins and broad beans grown under contract to the production and marketing of the end products whereby sustainability and regional added value are of the utmost importance to us.
Furthermore, we have constantly expanded our production facilities and works and continuously extended our product range and we are proud to be able to rightly rank among some of the most quality-conscious food manufacturers in our segment in Austria.
This is also reflected in our strengthened market position, which confirms the high degree of customer acceptance in our products. By the way: You’ll probably easily work out where we get our strength from to do all this...

Schwindhackl Bakery, Patisserie
Enjoy all kinds of cakes, tortes, biscuits, individual cakes - and a whole lot more - in our patisserie. Of course, we only believe in using top-quality ingredients in our patisserie, which are freshly produced in our region.
All the cakes and gateaus are on display in the glass cabinet in the shop – all you need to do is just select your favourites and either take them home with you or choose to eat them there and then in the cafe while enjoying a good cup of coffee.
The former Trifter bakery has been in existence since 1822 and this long-standing company has been run by the Schwindhackl family since 1956. Quality is what it’s all about for the Schwindhackls. The patisserie, which was added onto of the bakery in 1970, offers many regional specialities and is especially well-known for its unique curd cheese strudel and other seasonal products - and lovingly created ice-cream desserts are served up in the cafe and easily accessible garden area. It's even been awarded with the Austrian Eco-Label! And the “Christina”, a B&B, which is also part of the business, offers great rooms not far from the main square.
