In the spotlight: the energy of life
In many respects, Weiz is a centre of life energy. A glimpse around the city and its surrounding regions reveals a diverse range of lively, applied, imported and implemented energy sources which enable the people to live a worthy and energetic existence.
The old town, centred around the Tabor Church, offers a glimpse back at the town’s recent and distant history, as does the Baroque pilgrimage church. On the other hand, the art house promises a more contemporary look. The diverse range of restaurants and busy programme of festivals and events mean there is no shortage of enjoyment here.
The dripstone caves nearby are an exciting adventure. And luminous light shows (not just at Christmas time!) are the order of the day all year round in Weiz, the city full of energy.
